MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – Some travelers who pbaded Toronto Pearson International Airport last month may have been exposed to measles.

Public health authorities are concerned by a confirmed case of illness.

They say that people in Terminal 1 on Sunday, January 27 from 4 pm. at 8 pm may be at risk.

Those who were near people arriving on board a flight from Lufthansa – LH-470 – coming from Frankfurt at 16:08. may also have been exposed.

Also at risk are persons badociated with Air Canada flight AC-834 or LH-6829 who left Toronto at 6 pm for Montreal.

The authorities urge all those who may have been exposed to check vaccination records and monitor the symptoms of measles.

Symptoms, which may take up to 21 days after exposure, include a high fever, cold-like symptoms, sore eyes or sensitivity to light, as well as small spots with a white center inside the mouth at seven days.
