From Park Si-sooThe marriage between two of Korea's biggest actors – Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo – officially ended on Monday, when the court approved a divorce agreement for the high-profile couple.
The Seoul Family Court said that he had arranged an in camera hearing for the divorce agreement, to which only the legal representatives of the two stars were present – and had approved the split.
The court did not provide details on the settlement.
The settlement comes 25 days after Song Joong-ki filed for divorce to end her 20-month marriage with Song Hye-kyo.
"I can not give more details on the settlement," said a spokesman for the family court. "Since the conclusion was made in a relatively short period, I think both parties reached an agreement on all the conditions (for the divorce) before the Song actor raised the issue".
Shortly after the verdict, the Song Hye-kyo agency issued a statement, claiming that their divorce had been approved without anyone claiming alimony or partition of property.
The celebrities got married in October 2017 after meeting in the hit TV drama "The Suns of the Sun" in 2016.
