Ranveer Singh shared Tuesday the second song of the movie Gully Boy, entitled Meri Gully Mein. The title is a remix of Divine and Naezy, a single of the same name.
Gully Boy would be inspired by the life of the rappers, who burst with the viral-style DIY video clip of Meri Gully Mein, who initiated the fans to the idea of "gully rap" and propelled Divine and Naezy – Bombay rappers – in the honor.
The video shared by Ranveer apparently relates to the filming of the original video of Meri Gully Mein, shot in the alleys of the same shawl of Mumbai in which Naezy grew up. It also illuminates the character that Ranveer will play in the film, which seems to be a version of Naezy, while Siddhant Chaturvedi plays the Divine character in front of him.
The film's version of the song is performed by Ranveer, who also lent his voice to Apna Time Aayega, released earlier. Meri Gully Mein was composed by Divine, Naezy and Sez on the Beat, written by Divine and Naezy.

The video also plays like a Bollywood style song and dance number, with background extras and high production values that did not exist in Meri Gully Mein's original video, which you can watch here.
Gully Boy is directed by Zoya Akhtar and produced by his brother Farhan and Ritesh Sidhwani. The film will also be performed by Alia Bhatt, Kalki Koechlin and Vijay Raaz. Gully Boy is due out on February 14th.
