Kenyan journalist Soni Methu, former host of CNN's "Inside Africa", died at the age of 34.
She suddenly collapsed on Thursday in Kenya and died en route to the hospital, her sister Faith Methu said in a statement.
The cause of death remains unknown to this day.
"We do not know much, but an autopsy will be done to tell exactly what happened," said Methu.
Soni Methu hosted "Inside Africa," CNN International's longest feature film program, from 2014 to 2015, when the series moved to a new format without presenter.
