- Sophie Turner, star of "Game of Thrones" and "X-Men", just changed her tattoo
- In an Instagram post, Turner shared a picture of a flame tattoo on his finger.
- "Phoenix," she wrote in the legend, referring to her upcoming movie "Dark Phoenix".
- "Dark Phoenix" is the new series "X-Men" centered on the character of Turner, Jean Gray.
Sophie Turner debuted a new tattoo with an Instagram post on Friday morning. The stars of "Game of Thrones" and "X-Men" have subtitled his photo "Phoenix-ing out" ("Phoenix"), referring to the next film derived from his character Jean Gray entitled "Dark Phoenix".
The new ink was made by Los Angeles tattoo artist Daniel Winter, who calls WinterStone on Instagram. Winter is a tattoo artist known to stars and has also worked for celebrities like Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson.
"Dark Phoenix", which is a pre-story for Jean Gray, was due to debut in February, but was postponed in the summer of 2019.
This is not the first time Turner commemorates a role with a tattoo. She and co-star of "Game of Thrones," Maisi Williams, have tattoos matched to the date on which they discovered that they had landed roles in the HBO show. Last fall, Turner was tattooed on the arm the seal of the Grand Duke of Stark House, with the quote "The package survives" below.
The eighth and final season of "Game of Thrones" and "Dark Phoenix" will premiere this year.
