South Africa and Turkey have expressed their commitment to help Ghana realize its vision of creating a strong and formidable aviation sector.
According to the emissaries of both countries, the Government of Ghana has made a commendable commitment to the development of a vibrant aviation sector, especially given its positive impact on economic activities.

Bilateral relations
Acting on bilateral relations between Ghana and South Africa, Ms. Xingwala said that her country, through the intermediary of its airport management company, the Airports Corporation of South Africa (ACSA), would continue to provide Ghana with the technological badistance and training necessary to ensure effective management practices. in Ghana's airports.
"We are going to train more technicians in Ghana to make sure they are well equipped to maintain and work on aircraft operating in the various Ghanaian airports," she said.
In addition, South African Airways (SAA) would also cooperate with Ghana's local airlines to improve their travel operations.
She revealed that a memorandum of understanding would soon be signed between SAA and African World Airlines (AWA), a Ghanaian airline.
The Memorandum of Understanding would formalize and strengthen SAA's commitment to carry out its mentoring and badistance to AWA.
More investment
For his part, Dr. Uluerun said that the Turkish government, in its relations with Ghana, would target the aviation sector as one of its main areas of investment.
She added that efforts would be focused on ensuring that Turkish investors wishing to do business in Ghana prioritize the aviation sector.
She added that training opportunities with Turkish Airlines would be provided to pilots of local airlines to give them more experience and greater visibility in the performance of their duties.
For the future, said Dr. Uluerun, the Turkish government will provide the necessary infrastructure at different airports in Ghana.

Welcoming the emissaries, Mr Adda said that the commitment made by both countries to help Ghana develop its aviation sector was good news.
He added that the government's plans to reintroduce the national airline were at an advanced stage, which necessitated the need to consult with the aviation industry's forward thinking in order to adopt strategies for ensure a successful return.
He added that the successful launch of the national airline would improve connectivity, particularly with other African countries.
The minister appealed to the Turkish ambbadador for booking a quota of jobs for Ghanaians when Turkish investors began to develop the airport areas as planned.
