South Akatsi MP visits families of pastor and wife who died in cold blood

Mr. Bernard Ahiafor, deputy of Akatsi South constituency visited and sympathized with the families of the pastor and his wife who were murdered in cold blood.

Mr. Augustine Gbedema and his wife Madame Comfort Gbedema, the co-founders and leaders of the international church Harmony with Jesus Christ Ministry in Ayitikope in Akatsi South Municipality were reportedly killed by unknown assailants.

The incident happened on Saturday July 24.

The pastor and his wife who live alone were murdered in their house located a few meters from the main town.

Accompanied by the commander today Sunday July 25, the deputy expressed his dissatisfaction with the incident.

He urged the family and deceased residents to trust the police to bring the perpetrators to justice.

The lawmaker urges the public to assist the police with information that could lead to the arrest of the killers.

The MP was also accompanied by some NDC constituency leaders in the constituency.

Torgbi Katsekpor IV, Dufia d’Ayitikope called on the region’s police commander to do everything humanly possible to arrest the perpetrators.

“Are we no longer safe in our own city?” Torgbi smokes.

He advised residents to be guardians of each other as no one knows who the next target might be.

“This is the second time that a criminal act like this has occurred in the past two months in the community,” he said.
