MILAN (AP) – Inter Milan said coach Luciano Spalletti had left the club, but Antonio Conte is expected to replace him in the coming days.
The Serie A club said that Spalletti "is no longer the main coach of the first team" and then thanked "for his work and the results achieved together".
Spalletti joined Inter from Rome in 2017 and led the team to two second consecutive places and a Champions League qualification, but he did not win money with the club.
Conté has been unemployed since June 2018, when he was expelled from Chelsea.
