Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez looks set to regain power after his Socialist Party has taken up the historic challenge of right-wing nationalists in general elections in the country. The far-right party, Vox, has used anti-immigration and eurosceptic platforms, echoing trends in Europe. "Vox is here to stay," party leader Santiago Abascal told a crowd of supporters. His party is expected to win 24 seats in Parliament, the first success of the far right since the end of the Franco dictatorship in the 1970s.
