A man in his thirties was arrested in Mankessim in the Central region for stealing auto parts.
He was forced to unclog the gutters in the area he flew as part of his punishment.
The suspect is said to be fond of the theft of auto parts in Mankessim and its surroundings and has been taken into police custody on several occasions.
He was arrested and beaten by locals and tied to a light pole from 3:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. before being untied and ordered to clean gutters stuck in the neighborhood.
The suspect was then handed over to Mankessim police for investigation.
