A man in his thirties was arrested in Mankessim, in the Central region, for stealing auto parts and forcing to unclog gutters in the area where he flew.
The suspect is said to be fond of the theft of auto parts in Mankessim and its surroundings and has been taken into police custody on several occasions.
He was arrested and beaten by locals and tied to a lamppost from 3:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. before being untied and ordered to clean gutters stuck in the neighborhood.
The suspect was then handed over to Mankessim Police for an investigation.
