Speaker of Parliament, Professor Mike Oquaye
The Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Professor Aaron Michael Oquaye today is 75 years old.
Members of Parliament who could not hide their joy praised his achievement and wished him good luck.
The Chief Whip of Minorities, Hon. Mohammed Mubarak-Muntaka, who led his party to congratulate the President, urged the Chamber to honor with interest the sons and daughters of the country who have, in various ways, contributed to the development of the nation when they are alive and not wait until they pbad a way.
He commended the president for being a worthy example of society and congratulated him for his contributions to the transformation of Parliament.
The Deputy Majority Leader, the Hon. Sarah Adwoa Safo also congratulated the President for his unifying role and for leading a life worthy of being lived.
She also congratulated the mother of the President and his wife, who in various ways contributed to the success of the President's life.
