Aduana shared points with the Miners at Dormaa
Ashanti Gold SC played Sunday a 0-0 draw at Nana Park Agyemang Badu on day three of the special event.
The hosts made five changes to their team that beat Eleven Wonders FC 2-1 last Wednesday.
Yahaya Mohammed, Oba Ikama Ulitch, Farouk Adams, Samuel Bio and Paul Aidoo pbaded Emmanuel Akuoko, Noah Martey, Asante Pius, Bright Agyei and Sam Adams.
The visitors also had a single change in their starting lineup with goalkeeper Frank Boateng replacing Robert Dabuo.
The Fire Boys dominated the first half but failed to make the goals count.
Martey scored the first goal in the 11th minute after a long strike from the center.
The local team came closer in the 15th minute but Agyei's free header did not find the bottom of the nets.
Ashanti Gold SC nearly came out of the stalemate a few seconds after the start of the second period, but Salia Ouattara failed to convert a goalkeeper after the powerful shot of Appiah McCarthy forced the guard Joseph Addo to divide it.
Aduana Stars will make a short trip to face Berekum Chelsea in their next game, while Ashanti Gold SC will face Asante Kotoko SC in the Asanteman Derby.
