A protester who said he did not want the province of Alberta "polluted" stormed the scene at the Global Petroleum Show 2019 in Calgary on June 11.
Speakers at the 2019 show include Alberta Premier Jason Kenney, Danielle Smith of Global News Radio 770 CHQR, philanthropist Brett Wilson, and the President and CEO of the Petroleum Service Association of Canada. , Gary Mar.
Shortly before Kenney was about to address the crowd, a protester climbed onto the stage and grabbed the microphone.
"Before I can hear the Prime Minister, I just want to say that he does not represent me," said the unidentified man. "It's a cloaca of hypocrisy."
The man continued to address the crowd as the organizers of the event tried to send him away.
The officers then approached the man, handcuffed him and removed him from the scene.
