The Spice Girls tour ended after the last of three sold-out parties at Wembley Stadium, with their mom and their kids joining the Spice Girls on stage.

Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown, Geri Horner and Melanie Chisholm have ended their long-awaited tour in the UK with an interpretation of their hits. At the end of the concert, their families joined him, remarking Horner: "You've seen three generations of spice girls."

There were a lot of celebrities in the crowd, with this morning's presenter, Holly Willoughby, partying with friends, drinking shots in shorts.

They also led the crowd in an impromptu song of Someone Like You by Adele, after announcing that the grammy-winning singer was among the audience.

Before the show, Horner and Bunton shared selfies with Adele on their social media accounts.

Ginger Spice subtitled the photo "Finally Together" while Bunton described the singer as a "gorgeous woman".

After the show, an emotive Horner posted a video in which she thanked everyone involved in the tour.

"So we're done, it's over," she says.

"Thirteen stadiums, nearly 700,000 people with three extraordinary women with whom I shared this scene.

"I want to thank Melanie, Melanie and Emma and everyone who has come forward for us – it's something I will never forget, thank you very much – great love of the spice world."

The Spice Girls' meeting tour began at the end of May and they played in Dublin, Cardiff, Manchester, Coventry, Sunderland, Edinburgh and Bristol.

Mel B described their concerts at Wembley Stadium as one of the most important moments of her life, even though they were not joined by Victoria Beckham for the meeting.

A little earlier, Mel C had lamented that Victoria had not joined them by posting a message on social media: "The beautiful Victoria Beckham will always be missed (hoping to come back someday)! "
