Spirit Airlines banned a man for life after allegedly firing an airplane smoke alarm while smoking an electronic cigarette in his bathroom.

A deputy sheriff met the man when the plane landed at Louis Armstrong International Airport. According to the deputy sheriff's report, this man is "heavily intoxicated" and has a smell of alcohol, according to the Times-Picayune.

The man reportedly refused to smoke on the plane and ignored it was forbidden.

It has not been stopped, but the report says that the airline has banned it for life.
