Robert Preston (played by Tristan Gemmill) leads a double life on Coronation Street, while he tries to keep both women in his happy life and in the dark one of the other.
The restaurateur recently found ex-Michelle Connor (Kym Marsh) after a few months of separation and quickly told her secret lover, Vicky Jefferies, that he wanted to break things.

Robert agrees to attend but is later caught in a dilemma when Michelle rushes for a wedding dress sale leaving him in charge of the bistro.
Not wanting to leave Vicky or tell Michelle the truth, Roberts offers a plan to keep her secret secret.
The dubious businessman bribes Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) to retain the management of the bistro as he goes on to nominate Vicky.
Despite her badurances, her tardiness makes Vicky angry, which questions her commitment to her and the baby.
After promising never to let her down, Robert leaves and returns to the Bistro.
However, he happens to find Ryan who has trouble managing the restaurant and a confused Michelle wondering why he had to leave.
Again, Robert lies and convinces Michelle that he has been called to help a young delinquent.
With her accumulated lies, it will not be long before Michelle discovers the truth about Vicky and their baby.

Meanwhile, Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) could be on the verge of betraying his partner, Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson).
Nick is currently awaiting trial for stealing £ 80,000 from his elderly grandmother Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls).
The viewers saw Nick decide that his actions were due to the brain injury he had suffered as a result of David's discovery that he was sleeping with his ex-wife Kylie Platt (Paula Lane).
Despite his doubts, Nick agrees to continue using the injury as an excuse for his soliton Paula Martin (Stirling Gallacher supporting him).
However, could Nick be tempted to seduce Paula into bed to ensure her freedom?
