Gargano fights the DVD on the apron and hits the dive, but Dream throws it out of the air while trying to launch in the center. Dream jumps outside but eats a superkick, a suplex on the apron, and Gargano hits the jumping DDT, but the dream starts at 2.9. The crowd is standing. They exchange strikes. Gargano wants DIY, but Dream catches it with two Dream Valley drivers and the Purple Rainmaker for the win and the championship. The crowd exploded for this.
After Dream has celebrated and will leave, Gargano goes down again and attacks Dream and takes the belt. As Johnny poses at the top of the ramp, Ciampa goes out and stands by his side, as at Take control as the records end.
* Apparently, the WWE filmed two ends for the public: Strangely, when Gargano returned to attack Dream, he essentially made the finish with Gargano avoiding the Purple Rainmaker and typing Dream before leaving with the belt. Possibly additional finishes filmed to spoil the crowd.
