Spurs, Chelsea and Man United face tough meetings to help Arsenal get back into top four

[ad_1]

We are in the home stretch of the Premier League season with six games to play for most of the Champions League hopefuls.

Only three points separate the Spurs in third place from Manchester United in sixth and the battle seems to have to go straight to the point. The Gunners are in a very good position and no longer have any of their top six rivals to play, which is always a bonus.

This of course means that other countries still have enormous connections to make, as well as other difficult encounters that could make them miss.

The defeat of Manchester United against the Wolves on Tuesday meant that they missed an opportunity to position themselves on the sides of Unai Emery. They have now played a game more than Arsenal and another defeat at this point in the season could be crucial.

We are looking at where the teams could escape and give Arsenal a boost.

Chelsea Calendar

April 14 vs Liverpool at Anfield

April 28 vs Manchester United at Old Trafford

May 4 vs Watford at Stamford Bridge

May 12 vs Leicester City at King Power Stadium

For all Maurizio Sarri had a bad season at the helm of the Blues, they stay in the mix. That said, it seems that their course is the most difficult to come.

The matches in Liverpool and Manchester United speak for themselves, but the Blues managed to draw against both teams earlier in the season. They suffered a 2-0 defeat to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the England Cup, but defeated Jurgen Klopp's men thanks to Eden Hazard's winner in the Carabao Cup. In both cases, both teams will still have a lot to do and will provide tough opposition.

Watford and Leicester may seem less threatening at first, but both still aspire to seventh place and the best title of the rest. The Hornets will be a threat to the Blues. Although they have fought against the league's elite, the Javi Gracia team has goals in sight.

The Fox have won four of their last five games and have already beaten Chelsea this season. Another team prepared to properly counter only needed 27% of possession at Stamford Bridge for Jamie Vardy's goal to prove the difference.

Upcoming Manchester United Matches

April 24 vs Manchester City at Old Trafford

April 28 vs Chelsea at Old Trafford

Two gigantic links in the remaining Premier League schedule. The Red Devils will face their rivals Manchester after a hectic period for both teams. The size and quality of the Manchester City team should help manage the pace of the FA Cup and the Champions League. With a championship title to keep, they will be more than successful for the game.

Solskjaer will be confident of earning points on Chelsea, but you can never count on a team that Hazard can count on.

The behavior of the home contenders will be crucial and for United, it will be difficult to get six points from these two matches.

Tottenham Encounters

April 20 vs Manchester City at Etihad

For the moment, each tie gives the impression that it is a potential banana skin for the Spurs. Their opening game against the Eagles will be decisive for setting the tone for the rest of their season.

The players of Mauricio Pochettino have the chance to have four home matches against teams that they have already sent out this season, but the pressure to play well in these matches increases when one of the matches on the outside is against Manchester City.

Champions League hopefuls meet three times in 11 days. Tactical changes and mind games are ubiquitous, but Pep Guardiola may have more tools.
