A proposal to bring electric scooters to downtown St. Petersburg is about to be presented to City Council. We do not know when.
The Committee on Housing, Land Use and Transport decided Thursday to send the proposal to the entire city council. However, the August 1 meeting is not scheduled, which means that City Council could hear the proposal as early as August 15.
