St Peters Old-Boys awards prizes to teachers

The year 1998 of St. Peter's High School awarded prizes to four of its teachers for their hard work and dedication.

They are Mr. Hypolite Adekemah, General Tutor in Science and currently Associate Director of the School, Mr. Emmanuel Asare, Retired General Guardian of Arts, Mr. George Ankomah, Retired Agricultural Sciences Tutor , and Nana Osei Agyemang Prempeh II, Program Business Tutor, now Chief.

They received plates and LED TVs.

In an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Kwahu Nkwatia, East Kwahu District, Raymond A. Ekpale, chairman of the group, said the badociation had set aside Rs 4,800 for the program, which was part of the school program. 62nd speech and award ceremony.

He said the winners had contributed immensely to the training of the students and therefore deserved to be rewarded.

Mr. Ekpale said that the program would be organized every year to continually reward regular teachers, whether retired or active.

The group also planned to increase each year the number of laureates in order to motivate and encourage other teachers to work hard.

Mr. Ekpale urged teachers to abide by the rules and regulations of the Ghana Education Service to support quality teaching and learning.

He urged students to take their studies seriously and to renounce immoral activities that could destroy their future.
