The GFA Standards Committee fully supports Black Stars coach Kwasi Appiah, who is preparing to take the country to the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Contrary to media reports, coach Kwesi Appiah has the full support of the Standards Committee as he prepares to begin preparations for the next Afcon in Egypt.
The coach will receive all possible support to enable him to function optimally while Ghana seeks to win the CAN for thirty years or so.
The GFA has no interest in putting pressure on the Appiah coach, but will instead provide the necessary mechanism to facilitate his role in carrying out the quest for the nation.
Performance clauses around the world are acceptable in contracts, hence their introduction in Coach Kwasi Appiah.
Although it is an international practice, the standardization committee believes in the ability of Coach Appiah to lead Ghana's campaign to win the 2019 AFC CAN, the goal of H.E President Akufo Addo.
We want to ask Ghanaians to provide spiritual and physical support to Appiah and his team to achieve the common goal of winning the trophy in Egypt.
