Crystal Palace hired goaltender Stephen Henderson for a season.
The 31-year-old was free after leaving Nottingham Forest at the end of last season.
"It's a privileged position, so I'm delighted to have it on the line," Henderson told the club's website..
"The guards here are at a very high level, that's what I'm waiting for, so I'm going to understand everything and try to support them."
Henderson, who had been loaned to Wycombe Wanderers last season, went on Saturday to Switzerland with Roy Hodgson's group for the Palace's pre-season tour.
