Stephen Mulhern FUMING after he was asked if he would "accept an elevator" from Ant McPartlin

Stephen Mulhern, the British host, had more talent than he was asked if he would ride in a car with Ant McPartlin.

The TV presenter was talking to Jamie Theakston about the new hit show series on Heart Breakfast, while the radio presenter could not help sneaking behind the charges of drunk driving by Ant .

While the group started with a perfectly nice conversation in which Stephen explained why he would never have replaced his close friend Ant On, I'm a celebrity – claiming that Holly was the perfect person for the job – things have quickly turned to vinegar while Jamie made clumsiness gag.

"How's he, we saw him on Britain's Got Talent?" Jamie asked Ant.

Stephen Mulhern's face lowered when he was asked if he was going to have an elevator with Ant.

Ant and Stephen are close friends

Stephen replied, "He is brilliant, he is in great shape, the whole family has come back together, everyone is happy".

"Would you accept an elevator from him, though?" Interjected the radio host, causing Stephen's face to fall immediately.

Stephen then sat silently as Lucy laughed and berated her co-host, shouting "Jamie!"

He later did his best to burst out laughing at the incident, but his frustration was obvious and he whispered "wow" in a whisper.

Stephen had trouble smiling after the gag

Ant returned to BGT alongside Dec last weekend, after his presenter partner was forced to attend solo concerts last season while he was in rehab.

As a result of the smash, Ant also resigned from the intermediate series of Saturday Night Takeaway and called Holly Willoughby to replace him on I'm A Celebrity.

Addressing the Sun, the troubled TV star said that it was Dec who had made the brave decision to continue presenting without him.

He added that if it was the other way around, he would have made the same choice.
