Ntim also thanked the security forces and the people of Dagbon for giving peace a chance, expressing the hope that Dagbon's current status would greatly contribute to its development and progress.
He therefore called on other regions of the country facing the same problems to understand that "we are one people and that we can solve our problems if we resolve to bury the hatchet, to ward off quarrels and selfishness and to seek rather peace ".
