Steve Jobs is back at the rendezvous – he sends an email to Apple customers with the answers to their questions.

It was sent to CultofMac.com by reader Paul Greenberg, who asked Jobs about a missing feature of MobileMe that has frustrated him for three years: the inability to sync notes via MobileMe.

Jobs showed Syncing Notes to Macworld 2007, when it introduced the iPhone. Remarks can be synchronized between the iPhone and the Mail application, but only via a hard sync, not via MobileMe. (This feature is available in the beta 4 of the iPhone OS, which is scheduled for a summer version for iPhone and a September version for iPad.)

It was not just Greenberg who was looking forward to the report. There are a lot of complaints about Get Satisfaction, the MacRumors forums and AppleInsider.

Grabbing the initiative, Greenberg sent Jobs an email about this:

Why can not I sync notes on MobileMe?

I have 2 iMac, MacBook Pro, iPhone and now iPad, but for some reason, network synchronization is not supported.

Do you want to fix this soon? I remember what you mentioned 3 years ago at Macworld. I like what you did to change the way you work, but it really bothers me! Sorry.

Thank you.

In a generally concise way, Jobs replied that the feature would be added soon:
