Liverpool are making their final preparations for Sunday’s huge game against Manchester United.

Pogba claims Liverpool
Paul Pogba says everyone at Manchester United is aware of the magnitude of Sunday’s game against Liverpool.
The Reds will aim to tie the points with the Premier League leaders midway through the season when the two clubs meet on Sunday.
While Pogba has emphasized that every game is a big game for both clubs, this game matters more than most – although it doesn’t decide the league title outcome on its own.
Pogba said: “We know the story. We know it’s Liverpool. Everybody knows it.
“When you come to Manchester you know the history of Liverpool and Manchester United. We know it’s a great game.
“We know they’re second, they know we’re first. We know if we win we have six points (on them), everyone knows that.
“It’s not the game, yes it’s a game and it’s gonna be a tough game. But I don’t think this game will decide the league. I know it’s going to make a difference, but that won’t decide the league.
“I know it’s an important game, but all games are. We don’t have to do too much about ‘ah that’s the Game’. It’s Liverpool and when it’s Liverpool it’s always a big game.
“When you play for United there are always big games, but this one is a battle. It’s going to be a battle.”
Fergie admission
Mark Clattenburg has confirmed the influence Sir Alex Ferguson would have on referees when Manchester United are boss.
Shutting down Jurgen Klopp’s opinion that United currently get easier penalties than other teams, Clattenburg admitted that was the case when Ferguson was in charge.
“He is wrong to suggest that there is an aura around United that sees them making favorable decisions,” said the former referee.
“Previously, Fergie (Alex Ferguson) was there, but it has eased considerably since he left.
“I’m the only referee to give the opposition three penalties at Old Trafford, and that was for Liverpool, of all teams, in 2014.
“But David Moyes was a manager – I’m not sure that would have happened when Fergie was around!”
Gerrard makes Robertson’s life difficult
Andy Robertson joked that Steven Gerrard made life difficult at left-back at Liverpool.
The Reds legend is set to lead Rangers to the Scottish Premier League title, ending Celtic’s hopes of 10 in a row.
Speaking on Jamie Carragher’s Greatest Game podcast, Robertson admitted it was shocking to be in a position where he might not want Gerrard to succeed.
