Ryan Kent revealed that Steven Gerrard gives him the utmost confidence to believe in his own abilities and not be afraid of the Rangers.

Kent, who is currently loaned by Liverpool to the Rangers, was one of the players who arrived at Ibrox after Gerrard's intervention as manager of the club.


The winger has benefited mbadively from football matches of the first regular team at Ibrox so far this season. This is one of Gerrard's trustworthy options after playing 39 games in all competitions.

Due to his impressive performance under Gerrard at Ibrox during this term, the Rangers are also considering the possibility of signing on a permanent basis as he continues to progress.


And after his rejuvenated training under Gerrard, Kent revealed that the Rangers coach gave him the utmost confidence to believe in his abilities and to remain fearless on the ground at all times.

The 22-year-old also admitted to being touched by ground noise during his previous borrowings and pointed out that Gerrard had heavily influenced him to stand out at Ibrox.


"It's not that I have never been installed anywhere"Kent told Rangers TV.

"I think that probably the noise outside the field may have sometimes affected the way I played [in the past].

"But with Steven Gerrard, he gives me the most self-confidence to go play as I wish, gives me the conviction that I am able to continue to do things on the ground without fear of anything."

Kent scored six goals and scored nine badists for his teammates in all Ranger competitions this quarter.
