The Rangers had plenty of chances to secure their third qualifying round of the Europa League, but they left the door open as they won 2-0 at home.
The goals of Joe Aribo and Sheyi Ojo have earned the Glasgowers a deserved victory, but their coach Steven Gerrard knows they missed a valuable opportunity to end the game.
"Tonight's game plan was to try to kill the tie as soon as possible. I think we have created more than enough chances to do it.
"In the big moments of the game, we have not been clinical enough.
"Obviously, the penalty comes to our minds and we probably had six or seven decent chances to score more goals.
"As the game progresses, we pursue that third goal and lose some discipline and form at the back and we could have been caught, so there is work to be done.
"But the problem now is Progres's problem, because we have a two-goal advantage and a blank sheet.
"I think both teams can see a chasm tonight. So they have to do something radically different from their game plan for tonight.
"I predict that there will be opportunities for us to go to create more opportunities.
"But we have to be more clinical in front of goal and try to kill that tie as soon as possible.
