The Stiftung Warentest found that the vitamin D content of certain mushrooms exceeded the limit set by the EU at 10 micrograms per 100 grams. An overdose of vitamin D, however, is safe.

Vitamin D content in mushrooms

This increases the vitamin D content of mushrooms by a factor of 30 compared to conventional mushrooms.
