Mahama accused Bawumia of a deliberate attempt at justice against her public alienation
Former President John Mahama has described false statements by Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia that he would oppose the government's policy on the free movement of adults.
He accused Dr. Bawumia of deliberately attempting to make public disaffection against him with respect to the free movement policy.
In a statement, the office of Mr. Mahama said, "We have taken note of another propaganda launched by Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President, according to which HE John Dramani Mahama, the standard bearer and NDC chief, is against Free High School (SHS) education.

"Dr. Bawumia knows very well, in his heart, that he is not telling the truth and, as such, he is distorting the views of the former president.
"Mr. Mahama has never been against free SHS, and nowhere has he ever said that free SHS was bad policy."
