Mr. Afoko, however, was apprehended by the police and has since been tried. The case is currently being tried by Judge L Mensah sitting as Deputy Judge at the High Court and was sent back to February 2019 to allow lawyers to address the jury.
The minister said that as long as this trial was ongoing, constant efforts were under way to apprehend fugitive Alangde.
