In queue, J. Cole published "Middle Child". The track was produced by T-Minus, who has already worked on "Kevin's Heart" from Cole's latest album, 2018's KOD.
On offer, he nominates LeBron James, star of the NBA, thanks Drake and tells that he is a "middle child", an MC among different generations of rappers ("I am small and big brother all at once / I just left the lab with the young 21 Savage / I'm about to go meet Jigga for lunch ").

Cole, at the age of 33, had already teased "Middle Child" by cleaning up his Instagram account, with the exception of posts referring to famous black artists, Bob Marley, social novelist and critic James Baldwin, and soul group of the 70s, First Choice.
Half an hour before the release of the track, Cole began a funny madness on Twitter by posting on Twitter images of children of senior age, including famous faces.
It is unclear if Middle Child is an independent single or part of a bigger release. Cole is currently developing several projects, including a third volume in Dreamville Records. The revenge of the dreamers compilation series as well as a previously announced solo album called The fall.
Cole will present its inaugural Dreamville Festival in April.
