Sudanese security forces used tear gas to disperse protesters in central Khartoum. Protesters have been camping for more than two days while they call the resignation of President Omar al-Bashir. The protests began in December 2018 after the government raised bread prices, but they have since evolved into national agitation against the Bashir regime.
