The Spanish point of sale Estádio Deportivo has tried to bring an interesting update on the pursuit of Giovanni Lo Celso by Tottenham Hotspur Friday afternoon, but the claims are not perfectly waterproof.
They first recall the recent rumors that Londoners would be candidates for the Argentine midfield. They then said that the Spurs now had more money to make a new attempt.
Estádio Deportivo learns that Tottenham has renewed its sponsorship deal with AIA, giving the club 320 million pounds over eight years, which would allow it to strengthen in the race at Lo Celso.
They say that after having offered 50 million euros to the player, the Spurs would now be better placed to get closer to the 75 million euros requested by Real Betis.

We're pretty sure Tottenham has seen this deal happen for months, and the club certainly has a plan for that money.
There is also the fact that there is a lot of expenses to be paid, so it is quite innocent to believe that all this "money" would go to the transfers this summer.
Even if this were the case, if Daniel Levy does not believe that Lo Celso is worth 75 million euros, and that it would not be a controversial position, Tottenham will not reach that amount.
