The Super Bowl: It's happened! If you're looking for a game-by-game badysis of winning touchdowns, our friends at SB Nation are at your service. But if you're here for the objectively more entertaining part of this year's big game – the commercials – you're in the right place.

The Super Bowl is known for its lavish advertising purchases with absurd concepts (not to mention a few high-profile semi-trailer releases). This year delivered. From three separate advertisements on robots aspiring to humanity to a Game of thrones commercial that was not actually for Game of thrones, Here are the ones that are worth seeing:

Pringles

The unnamed badistant of this trailer (whether it's an Alexa, it's true) regrets that she never knows the taste of Pringles. It's a little depressing, but the moment chosen for the comedy is that of gold.

TurboTax

A separate robot wants to experience a piece of humanity (this time … he wants to be an accountant?). RoboChild is obviously a lot more scary than the totally anonymous device, but not Amazon. What is he hungry for? Taxes, apparently.

Michelob Ultra

This one is not here because it's a very good commercial, but because it complements a strange trifecta. Michelob Ultra continues the robo trend we saw with Pringles and Turbo Tax. This poor robot can never taste the sweet delight of Michelob Ultra! But we, the higher human beings, can of course. Is this an answer to our fear of Artificial Intelligence and our way of making sure that there are things (beer, fries and kale salad with guac, I guess) that we can only benefit? Sure. Well. Blade runner took place in 2019, after all.

Michelob made a second advertisement that was not really good, but just … weird. It is an ASMR beer advertisement. You will have to watch it to really understand what is happening. Unless you fall asleep first.

Pepsi

Pepsi, self conscious enough to realize that it's the substandard drink choice, is transforming the clbadic question "Is Pepsi OK?" In a soft drink sensation statement. There are some appearances of celebrities without any link between them. Overall, a good time!

Olay

Surrounded by high-stakes, action-oriented trailers, Olay dropped an advertisement that behaved like a slasher movie. In the end, it's an advertisement for a lotion, but a lotion Is have some sort of stigma badociated with serial killers of movies, so good on Olay to play in that.

Light bud

In a way, Bud Light does Game of thrones. The normally cheerful medieval world of Bud Light commercials had a dark control of reality, George R.R. Martin. We hope this means that next season, some characters will have a drink of Bud Light and remember Bud Knight's shrine. Dilly Dilly.

Burger King

This advertising was the first collaboration of fast food in 13 years. The images, of the pop artist Andy Warhol eating a Burger King hamburger, could not be more esoteric: the scene is a cinematographic "postcard" collected by the Danish director Jørgen Leth for his 1982 film 66 scenes from America. Do not say that Super Bowl ads are not art!

Bubly

This is not the right to be as funny as before, because basically, this advertisement is a cheap joke at Michael Bublé and in the word Bubly. But breaks and delivery, cemented by the child who arrives at the end, turn it from a predictable boredom into a solid laugh.

Bon and Viv enriched with Seltz

This one is pretty "eh" for most of the time – but has a good little twist. The average viewer probably does not really care about Bon & Viv Spiked Seltzer's Bon et Viv, so their prolonged appearance is a little tedious, but it's worth it for that purpose.

Microsoft

There are always some touching commercials amid gags and humor. This year, the one that hit the hardest was that of Microsoft, which put forward the Xbox adaptive controller. The focus is put directly on children who use the adaptive controller. By putting the story in their hands, the impact is all the more powerful.
