The Democratic Republic of Congo was double to help Tony Pulis's men find the way to victory at the Hawthorns
Britt Assombalonga scored twice in Middlesbrough's 3-2 win over West Bromwich Albion in Saturday's championship game.
After a consecutive stalemate with Millwall and Newport County, the 26-year-old helped the Smoggies return to victory at the Hawthorns with a commendable 25-minute cameo.
In the 17th minute, George Saville opened the scoring for Boro before Jay Rodriguez and Dwight Gayle scored goals to put the hosts in the engine's stead.

While the Riverside Stadium team were looking for an equalizer, manager Tony Pulis introduced Assombalonga in the 65th minute for Dael Fry and Congo RD International immediately had an impact.
The striker scored in the 75th minute to bring his team back to the fight, then completed his double to seven minutes from the end.

Nigerian international John Obi Mikel made his second appearance on the team for 75 minutes before being replaced by his fellow countryman, Rajiv van La Parra.
With the win, Middlesbrough is fifth in the league standings with 50 points in 29 games.
They will travel to Rodney Parade to trade their tackle against Newport County during the FA Cup tie on Tuesday.
