Mauricio Pochettino was busy this summer guiding Tottenham Hotspur in his pre-season preparations in Singapore and China, to refresh his team before another Premier League campaign.
After reaching the final of the Champions League and another top 4, the Argentinian hopes to go further and ensure that his team wins tangible rewards for the season.

Tottenham still tends to end his season under Pochettino, with a turning point that often happens in the winter months, after which their level of performance peaks and where the Spurs achieve a course worthy of a title winner.
But can they go to the end this season? The difficulty ranking matches of the Fantasy Premier League, or FDR, suggests that the list of matches has been generous with Spurs this campaign.
After some difficult tests at the beginning, their ability to evolve in the season could be put in their hands.
Fantasy Premier League claims that its FDR method is based on a complex algorithm developed by its team of experts.

It uses a set of formulas that process the key Opta data variables, as well as the home and absence forms of each team during the last six meetings, in order to generate a ranking of the difficulty perceived by each opponent of Gameweek .
The FDR is designed to help FPL managers plan their team transfer and selection strategy. It is reviewed weekly and updated as the season progresses.
This is a system that scores points ranging from one to five, one being the easiest and five the most difficult.
According to the FDR badysis of the season, the most difficult games of Tottenham will take place in Manchester City and Liverpool, both contested before the month of November.
Their next toughest match, four goals out of five, should be Arsenal (out), Everton (out), Manchester United (out), Chelsea (home) , Liverpool (home), Manchester City (home), Chelsea (away), Manchester United (home) and Arsenal (home).
In the table above, it seems that the first matches of the Tottenham season could actually be the most difficult race they will face, at least according to FDR.

Tottenham, the easiest race of the season
Take out these first few games, sail in the first leg to Anfield against Liverpool on October 26 and Tottenham could be ready for a special season in the Premier League.
