“Government alone cannot do everything to transform the nation, so the contribution of every Ghanaian is essential and this can best be achieved through the vigorous and continued involvement of traditional and religious leaders,” he said. .

According to Barima Ampim III, traditional and religious leaders have high esteem and the greatest respect among the population.

On this basis, he urged the leaders to use their influence to influence national peace and progress to curb illegal activities that could derail national progress.

He said traditional rulers must strengthen their role in supporting the government’s fight against illegal mining operations and chainsaw to protect the environment.
