Charlton Athletic Women President Stephen King said all fans who commit to buying season tickets for their matches will provide full financial support to their club.
King hopes to increase the average number of spectators on the women's side next season.
King is clear on the fact that Roland Duchatelet, who owns the men's club, does not realize any financial gain thanks to the female configuration.
King said, "If you can cumulate £ 40 or £ 25 if you are already holding a season ticket, even if you expect to come to one, two or three games, you help show us and a little will and support our path.
"We have done our best to emphasize that we are independent. We have the Charlton badge and are allowed to do it. We have an agreement with the club. I am aware that many Charlton supporters think "I do not want to invest money in the club, I do not want to buy a program, a jersey or attend a men's match – I do not do it." wanting to do something that puts money in Roland 's pockets, although the money seems to leave him a lot faster than he does it.
"If you do something for women, it does not matter to Roland: he has nothing. The money comes directly to the women's club.
"Yes, we could do with financial support. But we would also like, from time to time, if you can spare time to come on a Sunday at Oakwood and watch what we do.
"People could appreciate each other, it's a very authentic form of football, people are there for the love of the game, not just to get their salary back.
"Deep inside me, it's always that FA requirement that was there in the first season – you were supposed to have an average audience of 500 people. It's supposed to go up to 600 people next season and 800 the next year.
"One thing with Man Utd [being in the league last season] was that you knew you had half a chance of a decent crowd. Our average was between 400 and 500 this season, which would not have been without them.
"We have to make sure we do it at least and continue this momentum next season."
