TV presenter Susanna Reid broke away from her boyfriend of football, according to the Daily Mail.
The ITV star, 48, found love with Crystal Palace president Steve Parish, 53, last year. The couple was found against each other while they were watching the Premier League team on Saturday.
But last night, a friend of the presenter, who helped transform the success of Good Morning Britain into a resounding success, told the Mail: "It's very sad, but they simply can not do it.
"They both work extremely hard and do not have enough time for romance."
The ITV star, 48, found love with Crystal Palace president Steve Parish, 53, last year. The couple was seen sticking together watching the Premier League team on Saturday.
A spokeswoman for Miss Reid confirmed that the couple had separated but declined to comment further.
The former Strictly Come Dancing contestant became close to Mr. Parish last year after breaking up with Dominic Cotton, the father of his three children, in 2014.
The couple, who united for their shared love for Crystal Palace, was photographed for the first time together in November 2018 after a romantic mini-getaway in Paris.
The friend added, "They met by mutual support for the palace and will remain good friends. They watched the match together on Saturday even though the romance was over. "
Mr. Parish, who has two grown-up daughters with his ex-wife Carmel, made an estimated £ 45 million fortune from his computer graphics business and became president of Crystal Palace in 2010.
The friend insisted that no one else was involved in the breakup. Mr. Parish, who has two adult daughters with his ex-wife Carmel, made an estimated £ 45 million fortune through his computer graphics business and became president of Crystal Palace in 2010.
Miss Reid left the reporter Mr Cotton, her partner for 16 years, shortly after her stint at Strictly Come Dancing, where she was badociated with Kevin Clifton – divorced three times and currently attending her latest dance partner, Stacey Dooley.
Miss Reid said it was unfair to blame Strictly for her division, although she admitted it was a "parallel universe of glitter and star dust."
"After 16 years, you're going to change a little bit," she said after the split. "It would have happened anyway, I do not know, I do not badyze it.
At the time, Miss Reid was spending half of the work week in the BBC studios in Salford to host the BBC Breakfast, rising at 3:30 am to present the three hour show before making the 200km trip to his family in London.
