An alleged thief was lynched at Agomanya Ablotsi, in the lower municipality of Manya Krobo, in the eastern region.
The attack was reportedly carried out by a crowd at dawn on Saturday, June 15, 2019.
The deceased person had not yet been identified at the time of filing this report.
An eyewitness indicates that his body was "thrown" into a gutter in the area.
Police from the Odumase Police Command went to the scene and transported the body to the Atua Government Hospital morgue around 9:00 am.
It is believed that the deceased is in his thirties.
