The commercial insurance arm of reinsurance giant Swiss Re, Swiss Re Corporate Solutions (Swiss Re CorSo), has appointed Melanie Slack as Head UK, Ireland, SA & EMEA Wholesale, effective May 1, 2021.
Slack joined Swiss Re in 2001, where she gained global experience in numerous leadership roles in underwriting, internal audit and public-private partnerships.
Currently, she serves as Country Head Australia and New Zealand at Swiss Re CorSo and will be relocating to London from Sydney to take on her new role.
As Head UK, Ireland, SA & EMEA Wholesale, Slack takes responsibility for managing the strategy, development and performance of the company’s presence in the UK, Irish and South African insurance markets. enterprises.
