Syfy chose to cancel "Deadly Clbad" and "Happy!" Variety has learned.
The first, an adaptation of Rick Remender's comics series, featured Lana Condor, Benjamin Wadsworth and Benedict Wong. Produced by the Russo brothers, the series revolved around an orphan who became a student badbadin at King's Dominion High School for the deadly arts.
The co-production partner, Sony Pictures Television, will now make purchases on the show to try to find a new home. The show lasted a season.
