It's happened.

After months of round-trip, T-Series has replaced PewDiePie as the most subscribed channel to YouTube after six years at the top of the player.

This morning, the Indian music label had a considerable lead over the Swedish player – his real name Felix Kjellberg – with over 33,000 additional subscribers at the time of writing. And the number increases by the second.

At present, Pewds has just over 90,490,000 submarines, while the T series has just over 90,524,000.

Over the past month, the T series have often outstripped Pewds, but a few thousand subscribers have followed and for just a few minutes before the king of the Olympics, YouTube, recovers his crown.

But not this time.

And with the vast majority of his supporters probably asleep, they were unable to gather and have more submarines.

Last night, Felix seemed rather positive despite the fact that he was let ahead by a small lead, while he was turning to Twitter to tell his people that he was still at the top.

We can only hope that Felix is currently working on something spectacular to regain the lead.

It all started in November when Felix hit the 67 million mark and the T series came out of nowhere to challenge the title.

Subsequently, Felix's fans and friends launched a mbadive campaign, initially led by his colleague YouTuber MrBeast, which aimed to prevent a company from taking the lead.

The American vlogger – known for its exquisite money challenges – bought newspaper and radio ads, as well as billboards, to promote the Pewds channel.

Later, a support from YouTubers like Justin Roberts from Team 10, who bought a million-dollar billboard in Times Square, and JackSepticEye, who threatened to cut his channel if viewers did not subscribe to his friend.

Logan Paul, Markiplier and Alfie Deyes were also YouTube stars who showed their support for the 29-year-old.

However, a slightly more unexpected fan came in the form of the Ukip political party.

Apparently out of nowhere, the right-wing party tweeted, "Do you do your part? Help protect the freedom of speech on the Internet by sharing and signing this petition against the EU Copyright Directive.

"Also, do not forget to subscribe to @pewdiepie on YouTube and keep the business @Series up."

An unlikely support also came from Pornhub. In an NSFW video, Indigo White, an adult film actress, urged viewers not to use her services to subscribe to PewDiePie's YouTube channel.

However, everything went smoothly during the battle. The player abandoned the battle at various times. The latest being a tweet: "It looks like that's it", followed by the photo of the character of the video game that greets.

Nevertheless, Felix has largely acted as a cucumber in this whole affair. He had previously told Metro.co.uk that he was "surprised that no one had rushed faster" to take his crown.

Since the beginning of the platform, very few people occupy this coveted position. Felix followed the Smosh comedy duo to win the title in 2013.

However, with a company in first place for the first time in its history, it seems like a new era of YouTube is upon us.

God, PewDiePie.
