Take away women, children can not give you power – Wontumi tells NDC

Ashanti New Patriotic Party (NPP) regional president Bernard Antwi Boasiako, known as Wontumi in politics, forcefully declared that Ghanaians had already decided to hold general elections for 2020, according to MyNewsGh.com.

According to National Democratic Congress (NDC) National President Wontumi, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo's diabolical plot to kidnap innocent women and children can not win the party in the 2020 general election.

In a band allegedly attributed to President Ofosu Ampofo, it was understood that the party could resort to the kidnapping to force certain individuals to be guilty of testimony.

President Wontumi, while addressing the NPP faithful and youth at a conference and inauguration, his wings in Kumasi insisted that the NDC party could do nothing to change what the Ghanaians had already decided.

According to him, Ghanaians will vote mbadively for the government of the new Patriotic Party (NPP) on the basis of its flagship programs implemented by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

He instructed President Ofosu Ampofo and the NDC to let innocent women and children claim that the kidnapping of innocent people could not bring the NDC party back to power because it had devastated the Ghanaian economy.

"That there is kidnapping of women and children, NDC will be in opposition. NDC can do everything possible to bring 'dumsor' back under the Nana Addo government, but the NPP will win the 2020 elections. Ghanaians have already decided. The NPP wins the 2020 elections, no matter what the NDC does to dishonor the NPP government, "said Wontumi.
