Takoradi missing girls: family member does not believe police have found sister
Rebecca Quayson, one of three missing Takoradi girls, says she does not believe the police have found the missing girls.
"Seriously, honestly, I do not think so," said Ms. Quayson, Ruth Love Quayson's 18-year-old sister (last seen on December 4, 2018) in an interview with the Accra-based radio station. Joy FM.
Ms. Quayson Responded to an Announcement by IDRC General Manager Majah Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah that the police knew where Ruth Love and two other people (18-year-old Priscilla Mantebea Koranchie) were, last seen December 21st
"I do not believe it, because at least you have the number of my mother if you really found my sister, at least you will call my mother to tell him something … but you did not tell us anything it's only this morning you tell us that you've found the girls … Unless we see our sister face-to-face, we'll believe her. "

Past disappointments
She recalled that her family had received a similar announcement with hope in January of this year, but was again disappointed.
"The last time, they told us that the kids were alive and that they would bring them … When the Minister of Gender said that it was almost three months now. Let's hear our sister's voice so that we can believe that, really, they found it, "she says.
The kidnapping suspect, Samuel Udoetuk-Wills, appeared for the fifth time in the Takoradi Court of First Instance on 4 March. The trial was adjourned to 4 April.
