Tale Pear Stirring in the locker room if Icardi stays at Inter

Antonio Conte fears that Mauro Icardi will cause trouble in the locker room if the attacker stays in Inter beyond this summer, according to La Repubblica.

Inter has not spoken to Icardi nor to his wife and agent Wanda Nara for some time, the club is waiting for offers for the attacker, who have not yet arrived.

An exchange agreement with Paulo Dybala, the Juventus striker, remains the most plausible solution, but it would be difficult to reach an agreement before June 30 with the old lady, who did not not yet announced his new coach.

"Inter will be in Lugano for its preparatory training camp in July and it is not certain that Icardi will be there," says the Rome-based newspaper.

"Tale could leave Icardi out of the team to try to convince him that he needs to find a new team, although that might further reduce his market value."

Icardi wants to stay at Inter for at least 18 months, by which time he would be free to sign for any club on a free transfer.

"At the moment, it looks like a threat," La Repubblica concluded.
