President Donald Trump said that the United States would eliminate the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL or ISIS) wherever they are until the final defeat of the armed group .
The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) backed by the United States raised their flag in the city after what they call a total territorial defeat of the armed group and the elimination of its so-called caliphate.
