The body of the deceased was found near his taxi in a pool of blood
The body of a taxi driver believed to be around thirty years old was found at Community 24, a suburb of Tema in the Greater Accra region.
The body of the unidentified person was found in a pool of blood surrounded by concrete blocks.
It was found near an Opel taxi under the GM 387-17 registration number.
The windshield and side mirrors were damaged by the concrete blocks, reinforcing the suspicion that he could have been attacked by the unknown badailants in the car.

Interestingly, after several hours of the incident, the dead body of the deceased was still lying near the taxi to the community.
One resident told DAILY GUIDE that they had woken up to find the corpse near the taxi with blood flowing from some parts of his body.
"We suspect that he was attacked by criminals who used the concrete blocks to hit him until he died," the resident said.
The resident asked why the police in the area had failed to transport the corpse to the morgue and open an investigation into the incident.
